UNDER 12 RESULT

On Sunday last our under 12 squad took to the field of play in Garrycastle in their under 12 tournament shield final. In this game we faced St. Mary's Rochfortbridge. This was a tightly contested game and whilst our boys got off to a great start, the 'Bridge were not for giving up and managed to narrow the gap to just 2 points but our boys rallied and managed to restore a 5 point gap between the teams before half time. The second half was nip and tuck all the way and our boys backs were very much to the wall as St. Mary's came out battling and had the aid of a strong wind. However we prevailed to finish on a scoreline of Shandonagh:3-7(16) St. Mary's Rochfortbridge:1-9(12). Well done boys. 25th of October 2015

UNDER 12 GIRLS

Our under 12 girls played Loughnavalley last Friday evening in what proved to be a highly competive and thrilling match. Great attacking football was played by both teams. Unfortunately we were well behind at half time with on a scoreline of 2-2 to a single point but as always with our resilient girls they came back stronger in the second half and managed to get more scores on the board. Ella Carey managed to score an impressive 2-2. The game finished Loughnavalley 5-6 Shandonagh 2-2.

Well done to the girls who kept going for the whole game and played some superb football in parts.

UNDER 12 GIRLS

Our under 12 girls played their second match of the season last Thursday night against a strong Rochfortbridge team . The first half was a tight affair with our girls just ahead at half time after scoring 2 -4.

Our girls really went for it in the second half. They played some superb attacking football and finished the game scoring a very impressive 4-12. This was enough to win the game despite a good late rally from the Rochfortbridge girls. 5th April 2015

U 12 training continues in the Clubhouse every Monday evening at  6 PM
